92  Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 48 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Ewulotta on: August 11, 2009 11:01:39 AM
I received a great package from gamemom yesterday. She claimed me for a scrap caddy and pincushion.

Here's the scrap caddy in "action". I love it! The colours are just perfect. I still need to fill the pincushion with sand. We decided that it would be easier and more convenient to send the pincushion without sand and that I'll fill it here.

She also send some scrapbooking stuff... well, she actually spoiled me with scrapbooking goodies and I can't wait to get started. I'm a newbie to scrapbooking Smiley

Thank you gamemom42!

After having made some bags and purses for friends, my sister and for swap partners, I thought I should make a bag for myself.

Here's the Taxi Tote (from Seams to Me by Anna Maria Horner) I made with Amy Butler fabric

It's not completely fnished yet, I'm still looking for a big button, wooden or fabric covered.

99  Little Leaf Man in Completed Projects by Ewulotta on: July 10, 2009 09:38:07 AM
My mom gave me this calender for my birthday that shows seasonal leaves for every month with instructions how to make little leaf men with felt. I made a little holly man

I also made those little men with the kids in church and they loved it.
It's nice to use the leaves for seasonal decoration, maybe hanging them in branches or making a mobile with different ones.

100  A polka-dotted sun hat for the hot & sunny days in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Ewulotta on: July 03, 2009 07:32:31 AM
I made this hat for the Virtual Vacation Swap and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

I found the pattern in a Burda magazine. They used plaid fabric but I like the polka dots better.
