1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Undersea Bathroom. Great cabinets for artwork. on: September 25, 2009 02:54:08 PM
Ok. I dont have any pictures of my bathroom but im wanting to put underwater creatures on the walls and then cabinets. The questions are this--should i modpodge the images onto the walls or should i stencil them? Im using Lish the Dish's idea with the Deep sea animals dishes and using fishnets to create the same look on the cabinets. this can be found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=310240.0

I also need to know what would be the best paint to keep in a bathroom. Ive never done any type of painting really except for helping my family paint rooms simple colors but I finally have my own house to decorate. Smiley I'm going to try to repaint the tile in the bathroom also. Any tips on this would help, Ive looked online some and found some helpful tints but some personal experience would be better. I havent really stenciled before either so that is why im thinking about just printing pictures, coloring them and then add them to the cabinets. Let me know if anyone has done this and if it holds well with the humidity in the bathroom. And also what product would be best for this. Well sorry for rambling, I just would really appreciate other craftsters help.

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Bottlecaps? on: December 15, 2008 10:07:03 AM
Hi. Ok so Ive been making magnets outta bottlecaps for awhile now but ive been noticing the growing increase of jewlery out of bottle caps. So my question is how?? I would like to know how to make holes and what materials other people use. Just all the little info would be great. lol

Also. I cant seem to find the glaze I like anywhere. Anyone have a favorite kind they like to use and where to find it. I am in Texas if that helps. But I used Klutz Glaze to cover my bottlecaps to keep them from damaging but I cant find just a bottle, you have to buy a whole craft set from capsters. So Just any information to help me get started again. Im selling them through my work place and they are now looking forward to the jewlery. Thanks in advance
