11  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / sparkly! on: September 21, 2009 03:31:09 PM
hubby and i got these chairs with a bunch of furniture we bought about a year ago, i hated the way they looked and made slipcovers for them, then got tired of my cat hiding under them and swatting my feet when he got mad at me lol so first i have a couple befores

before: gross!

with my helpers tux on the chair and moo under the chair looking insane lol this one shows the colors better lol

the vinyl i used

and the afters!
i didnt realize how hard they were to see against the banister

and another group shot

i love them so much! and the vinyl was totally worth the $15 a yard, the chairs will live on our back deck til we get patio furniture which will be soon hopefully, now if there was a way i could get my upstairs neighbors to use an ashtray and not ash all over our deck...bleh

so what i did, took of the seats, spray painted them black, took all the old fabric off and reupholstered them with the sparkly vinyl, i love them i hope you do too Smiley
