laura3850 received a while ago and she posted the loveliest pictures of her daughter loving her new hat! I'd actually sent 2 hats... so I just wanted to share pictures of the one I made for her youngest.

This is a bracelet I made as a bday gift for an 11 year old - nothing fancy, just googly eyes and jump rings. I think it turned out very cute though!!! I'll probably make her some hair clips to go with it.

I made this for someone in the July Bday Swap and just realized I hadn't started a thread for it. I wanted to show it off with more detail because, although I have VERY limited experience in embroidery not with felt and don't have very good tools, I'm quite happy with the results!

I started by making templates for the flowers, then cut out several of each shape and colour and assembled them with glue. Once that was dry, I embroidered each flower, they are all totally different. Finally, passed a wire through two holes of a white button, poked through the flower and through 2 holes of clear buttons (underneath petals) and twisted it tightly enough that neither of the buttons wobbled if you shook it around. Making the bouquet was a lot of trial and error (it's harder to place felt flowers than fresh!), and when I was satisfied, flora-taped the wires together, added a little padding (paper towel), taped over that, then covered with the ribbon which is held down by decorative pins. Oh, and I put a circle of green felt under the flowers to hide the wires.
