I use marshmallow fondant. It tastes much better the regular fondant and is easy to make. Here's a link to the recipe(and my second favorite site Cheesy)- http://cakecentral.com/article47-How-to-Make-and-Decorate-with-Marshmallow-Fondant-MMF.html

the fondant is actually made out of marshmallows, the only extract i added to it was almond.
Here is the recipe I used from http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-4266-mmf.html+recipe

Marshmallow fondant
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 tbsp water
1 1/2- 1 3/4 cup powder sugar

Place marshmallows in a standard 1 cup measuring cup and push down and pack them in. Place in a microwave safe bowl and add the water. Put in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Just long enough for them to soften and puff up. Take out and stir with a spoon until it is combined well. At this point it looks kind of soupy. Then add the sugar and mix and fold until all is incorporated and it is no longer sticky. I take it out of the bowl when it gets to the point where most of the sugar is incorporated and I knead it in my hands. This takes roughly about 5-7 minutes. Take a fondant roller or a regular rolling pin and roll out just as you would Wilton's fondant. You can get this fondant almost paper thin and it also repairs well. It's cheap, easy to work with, and tastes great too.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Dude- surfs up in my bathroom on: August 12, 2005 01:00:34 PM
My bathroom is very small, I made it fun by painting this stool, adding a flower  lei around my bathroom mirror and painting a wall with hibiscus flowers, eventually I will add a grass skirt around my toilet Tongue

9  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Anyone else into canning? on: August 11, 2005 08:11:00 PM
I started this year, so far i have only made strawberry jam, but I will be making peach jam and also salsa. For the salsa I am going to try the recipe, apparently its really good

Copied and pasted from recipezaar.com

Wonderful Salsa #9272http://www.recipezaar.com/9272

8  cups tomatoes, peeled, chopped and drained
2 1/2  cups onions, chopped
1 1/2  cups green peppers
1  cup jalapeno peppers, chopped
6  cloves garlic, minced
2  teaspoons cumin
2  teaspoons pepper
1/8  cup canning salt
1/3  cup sugar
1/3  cup vinegar
1 (15  ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (12  ounce) can tomato paste

Mix all together and bring to a slow boil for 10 min.
Seal in jars and cook in hot water bath for 10 min.
The cumin in this makes it hot so when I want a milder salsa I just omit the cumin.
10  COOKING / Dessert / Baby shower cake on: August 11, 2005 08:01:42 PM
I made this cake for my sil. It is a white chocolate cake filled with strawberry buttercream and covered in marshmallow fondant. If anyone wants recipes, let me know and I will post them.

The bottom layer had abc and 123, top layer had baby bottles, botties, rattles around the sides. I also used real ribbon.
