1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Baked Italian dishes recipe questions on: October 15, 2008 04:07:44 PM
Does any one have any baked italian recipes they are willing to share? I am primarily looking for pasta, tomato sauce, and mozzarella chesse recipes. My favorite restaurant has great baked ziti, tortellini, and ravioli dishes that I just love. I've tried replicating it but I think I am messing up on the quantity parts.

I have one other baking question. What mozzarella cheese bakes the best? I want to replicate that gooey greasy cheese that the restaurants have mastered. But every time I use either fresh mozzarella or pre-shredded mozzarella it comes out very rubbery. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

If you have suggestions, thank you in advance.  Smiley
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / 25-50 Tin Texas Stars on: September 17, 2008 08:42:52 PM
I have 25 to 50 tin Texas stars that are copper in color. They are about 2 to 3 inches long and wide. They were decoration for my rehearsel dinner about two years ago. They aren't very big so they are not suitable for hanging. I don't know what to do with them. Any thoughts, crafters?
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Decoupage kit ; help requested on: September 11, 2008 04:36:37 PM
My mom wants to learn how to decoupage. I want to give her a decoupage "kit" for Christmas. I have ordered a couple of books on how-to-decoupage but I don't know anything about the supplies.

If you're the decoupage "queen", please help me. I am specifically looking for supplies. I want to know what items can be decoupaged (or at least the most common), what you decoupage on it (do glossy magazine pictures work best versus any newspapers; or what other fun things out there can you decoupage with) and then what tools are required?

I want to put all this fun stuff in a basket for Christmas. But Christmas is approaching fast. Any help is greatly appreciated!
