11  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Wedding photo booth backdrops DIY on: June 11, 2011 05:49:02 PM
I want to do that sort of thing at my wedding. Is that just a red wall in the back? My wedding's outside, so I'm thinking of hanging a sheet maybe for the back drop.

That's awesome. I bought some of the same fabric to make a purse, and mentioned to my mum that I should have got enough to make a dress. I think she thought I was nuts, and this just proves I"m not, cause you look awesome.

18  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Sewing needle injuries, anybody? on: March 12, 2011 06:24:24 PM
I almost swallowed a needle once. I had it in between my lips and yawned or something. It was a close call.

I stuck an embroidery needle about halfway down between my thumb nail and my thumb. I didn't really bleed, but did hurt like hell. You could see the red line for ages after.

They other day I chipped a tooth. I was embroidering a t-shirt and was having trouble pulling the needle through, so I used my teeth just like my mum always told me not to. I once broke a needle doing this too.

Cool. The dots remind me of button candy.
20  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Granny Square Swap on: March 05, 2011 06:11:34 PM
That sounds pretty cool. I'm pretty sure it's against the swap rules for everyone to send to the organizer and then have them redistribute though. I could be wrong cause it's been a while since I read the rules.
