I can make the drive.

I live in Palm Beach. It's only a short drive to Boca. I used to live in Coral Springs  back in the 80s, so I knod of know my way around there (I was only 7 at the time, so it's not like I drove or anything). I can usually get to Miami in a little over an hour, but with it becoming LA East and NY south, why would I?

Well, someone caught wind of this because that page is gone.
4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:Old Children's Books / Hardcover Books on: February 21, 2004 01:38:31 PM
I scored today with a Wolf cub scout handbook and a Bear Cub scout handbook from the late fifties---.29 each! The covers are awesome and just screaming to be made into purses.

Cool. I have been saving those polished stones you can get from tourist traps (I live in FL. I can't throw a tourist without hitting a tourist trap), you know, the kind that you can "fill the bag for $3.95!!! (you'd be amazed at how many stones you can cram in there)" and I want to do something similar to your table.

7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:Rejection Letters!!!! on: February 05, 2004 06:58:37 PM
I saved the letter I got firing me from Disney. It is in my career shoice from HELL scrapbook. The very last page. My hire letter at the front and my 'You're Fired" letter at the end. Fitting. I was fired in the "Eisner is cutting back on everything but his salary" cutbacks of 2000. I hope he gets voted out and he becomes a penniless vagrant.

Uh...somewhere near the corner of Griffin and 98, I believe. I haven't been there in so long.

Yeah, they are pretty snobby sometimes.

Why don't you put up a notice at places like Jerry's and Crafts n Stuff. All the craft stores in this town seem to indicate there are a LOT of crafters around here.
