simplysara, I live in South Park too! How rad. I love this neighborhood!

Are you talking about the Whistle Stop? I would love to go there for the knitting group sometime.

Looks awesome! Did you add a ribbed brim to it or something?

Nice work!

Cute! It looks great in that yarn.

Has anyone tried knitting this in the round?

Yes, apparently he is quite the spontaneous masturbator!

I did not read that, but I have noted that their advertising is obnoxious and disguisting. Consistently. See back of Onion for details.
Moral of the story: It's better to exploit exotic models than poor orphans.

Incidentally, the Jane article divulged that he uses his own employees--NOT models or orphans--in the ads. Just a lucky guy, I guess, to have hired so many hot professional women who are willing to get naked for their boss!

Anyway, it's still a great option.

Rad! Nicely done!

I agree, the political aspects of crafting can get touchy. But isn't the lovely gal who made this shirt expressing a "political belief"? It's just hard to know where to draw the line, if you ask me!

I totally agree, I don't have any problem with the small number of projects. I like it for its inspirational value. And as I've said before, it's kind of a guidebook for the new crafty movement, rather than a compendium of project ideas that will soon be outdated.

Yay! It's great to get enthusiastic responses. Unfortunately, holiday travel and a month-long bout of bronchitis have kept me from thinking much more about this, but I will keep pondering times and places and post here again when I have something definite in mind.

I love your cardigan too! It looks great on you.

I also have that book, and just recently finished the "give the people what they want" cardigan (awful name, cute sweater!). You've inspired me to make this cardigan my next project! I'm thinking about using something like Classic Elite Lush (half angora, half wool) or something similarly fuzzy. Smiley

Hmmmm, cardigan knitalong perhaps? I need some serious help to get me out of my knitting ennui . . .
