1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Travelling Journal Swap - possibly UK only? on: March 20, 2010 02:45:08 PM
Would anyone be interested in a travelling journal swap? Basically, everyone has a blank journal and it gets sent round all the participants and everyone does one spread in everyone else's journals.

Here is a link to a UK one that was done a few years ago:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=123382.0
And a USA round: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=144684.0

They have been limited to countries before to save on shipping costs and times, so if we were going to limit this one hopefully it would be to the UK (that's where I am!), but I think it would be possible to do it without limiting to a certain country.

I can't organise, but is anyone else interested in organising a swap like this?

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cupcake scarf! on: November 01, 2009 06:28:01 AM
I knit this scarf for a swap ages ago, and never got around to posting it  Smiley

it has a 'keyhole' that you thread the end through to keep it on. The cupcake is felt, with beads sewn on to look like sprinkles.

Thanks for looking! Grin Comments and critique welcomed
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Felt Christmas Tree Ornaments on: November 09, 2008 01:24:15 PM
I went shopping this morning and there was Christmassy stuff everywhere in all the shops and it put me in a really Christmassy mood so i came home wanting to do some christmassy crafting. So i came up with these three little decorations for my christmas tree. They're not really original or anything, but i just thought they were kinda cute  Smiley

This is all three of them together

This is the heart shaped one close up

This is the square shaped one close up

They are made from 2 peices of white felt with the decorations sewn on, then the peices of white felt sewn together with red wool and stuffed with scraps of fabric.

Please tell me what you think!  Smiley
