8982  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Yes. I knit a boob on: November 22, 2008 02:37:19 PM
oh, I think its great!  It makes me giggle!

I know it's pretty ridiculous but I wanted tit to have some utilitarian purpose besides just being a knit boob. I think it adds to the absurdity of having a knit boob in your home.

I'm sure my swap partner cuddles up with it every night and it gently warms her to sleep. At least that is how I imagined it going down in my head while I was knitting the thing.

 Grin

I hope your swap partner cuddles up with it!!  It looks cushy!

this is it this week.  It was some of the roving I had dyed last week, spun up with white.  It was a bit thicker then I wanted it to be, but it was my first official yarn spun on my wheel.

8988  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: I'd Rather Be Watching The Big Bang Theory on: November 20, 2008 09:33:59 AM
This is exactly why love the needework board.  Always such random cross stich things.  I don't watch that show.  But I love that line. (first time I heard it, but it stuck instantly)

May I sugest  "Who throws a shoe?"  I can't remember where thats from,  it could likely be from my own mind, but I think it may be from something.  That could be a good one.  Wouldn't take to long either, you could do a shoe as an embelishment too!
