8451  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Handspun Yarn and/or Fiber Swap Round 2 on: April 27, 2009 10:02:02 PM
oh so it doesn't necessarily have to be crafted with your yarn?  hrm... Thats a good question... now you've got me thinking!  But its to close to bed time... let me dream about that, instead of giant teddy bears coming to life and leading my child somewhere...... yeah weird....
8452  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Jar of Whimsies 5 (Sign-ups 4/20-4/25, Send-outs by 5/25) on: April 27, 2009 03:27:53 PM
Now that I have my partner, I extremely nervous.  I've never done jar of whimsie before...  yikes hopefully I do well........ this is the most swap anxiety I've had ever!  Have a few good ideas for crafted items, but thats about it LOL

Awwwwe you will be fine!  I trust you!

that alpaca looks in much better condition then mine...  Did you wash and pick your already?  Also mine wasn't vacuumed  before shearing, so its really dusty.  It'll be a bit of work to get it looking nice.   I just wish I could touch it!

Musical chairs to that song is brilliant!  He loves that song.
The twinkie cake is a really good idea.  Simple pound cake in a loaf pan.... How would I fill it with whipped cream..... that'd be the trick!    and the licorice cockroach I think would be tricky too...  I'll run that by my husband!
Is there a tutorial for a pinata with strings?  I'll google it too, but just incase I come up with nothing good, maybe you know a good Tute?

Thank you for the suggestions, I will definitely be posting pics of the festivities and the crafty goodies I can come up with in 5 days !
