8061  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: favor idea advice on: May 19, 2009 07:48:30 AM
Our favors were forest green, our colors were a blue teal and  cream.  So they did match sort of, but definitely were not color scheme.  I think weddings are going the way of less static in esthetics,  so go for it!!!   If they are 'you'  as a couple, do it.    Us as a couple happened to be coffee from our favorite coffee shop,  and they only came in the size we needed in forest green.  Still went with it, it was still Us.

I also love the idea of putting them in a giant vase with a 'take me'  or 'take one' sign!

sounds like super fun SML!!     I'm waiting on a delivery of wool from a batt club I joined, soon there will be 6 oz of wonderful fluff for me to spin!  yay!  can't wait for this swap to start.  i'm going to order before I get my partner, because sometimes, it takes excessively long for stuff to get to me, I don't want to have to send late because of where I live....

My hubby is supportive that way too, though he's never said it, He just doesn't say anything, so I know its all good! LOL  He tells me when I need to cut back.   Though he did say the other day when I was showing him my work  "you are really good at that stuff."    Grin    super pick me up.
