7875  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Kids Lunch Ideas on: August 21, 2009 05:23:02 PM
I have no suggestions... But I'm here for the suggestions..  My first boy will be off to school next year, but My husband complains I don't make him lunches, so I may use these ideas for his lunch bag Smiley  So long as he actually eats the food I make, I'll keep it up LOL  Men and their desire for fast food.....
7876  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Amazing Barley & Vegetable Soup w/ Italian sausage -Super cheap & easy! on: August 21, 2009 05:16:52 PM
mmmmm i've been on a soup kick lately.. It feels like fall already Cry So soup is on the menu, to keep us warm.  I'm going to have to try this one out before we leave for our vaca....  Sounds like things I'll have to buy, but they are mostly non-perishable. which is wonderful!!  Thanks for the recipe!
7877  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: Drum Carder Advice on: August 21, 2009 04:17:46 PM
knkurz, Thank you for doing all that research!  I've been trying to figure what the difference between all the diffrent options are... and nothing I read would stick or really told me why I wanted 72 tpi vs 128tpi....  But now I know!  Thanks!
Also, thank you Cyndi, for your 2 cents.  Smiley Always very informative you are!  Going to google the Pat green Deb's Deluxe....  If you use it, it must be good Wink
7878  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: The random SPINNY babble thread :-) on: August 21, 2009 04:05:51 PM
generally, yes.  Wool is safe for babies.  I know one little girl that is alergic to lanolin... but the chances of your wool actually still having lanolin in it is slim to nil.  My children have no adverse reactions to wool. And I have intentions of making this baby lots of things from wool.  So go for it!  but yeah, don't rub it with peanuts and honey.....
7879  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Re: Fiber Friday 08/21/2009 on: August 21, 2009 03:09:58 PM
oooh Oddacity!!  I like how you spun it up!  you should see my first attempt at long draw..... yikes it goes from laceweight to chunky/underspun......  from what I can see there, your first attempt at long draw went better then mine Smiley
7880  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Lovesclutter embroidery on: August 21, 2009 12:04:26 PM
I was paired up with Lovesclutter (okay so I asked to be paired with her... but anyway) in the Pimp my Craftster Username Rd4.  This is on the front of the wallet I made for her Smiley

I think this is my first post on the embroidery board......  but not my last!
