7611  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: The "other mother" costume? on: September 12, 2009 07:13:23 PM
My question here is how do you see beyond the buttons?  or do you have to take them off to see?  A friend of mine lives in the Pink Palace (seriously.) We are doing up her home with a Pink Palace sign and bobinsky sign... and other small touches I'm sure, but we are also lost on the eyes bit, since she will be  the other mother, handing out candy... Cheesy  We may just paint on some buttons though.  We'll see what comes of the answer to seeing thru the buttons.

7617  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: September Felt-along - preparing for OCT 3rd. International felt-bombing on: September 11, 2009 04:51:34 PM
that tag rocks.  Is it mac compatible, or am I going to have to visit the local internet "cafe" to print those off?

It was made on a mac so it should be fine - there shouldn't be a reason why it doesn't work with mac or windows.
It was pretty easy to put together - but I knew I wanted something quite simple right from the start.

RAAR grr ugggh.  I'll pm you Smiley

lol thread jumping Smiley
K.  Apparently the glauber salt helps to even out the color.  I've been having a terrible time getting a solid color.  Always parts that are white and parts that are insanely dark.  And the Orvus paste is suposed to help strip the wool of any left over lanolin or dirt, which can cause uneveness.  Smiley  Oh the things I learned!  so much fun!

Freestyle, I'm jello of your proximity to a fiber grave!  I really hope that drum carder is in one piece and working well!!  I want you to get it, so I have something else to jealous of!
