7601  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Child Abuse Make Up - graphic images - image heavy on: September 13, 2009 04:34:19 PM
Your daughter was a wonderful model.  The look in her eyes made me cry.   You are a great make up artist, those bruises and cuts and burns look amazing, though I'd never ever ever want to see injuries like that for real on a child.  Well done!  Thank you for bringing more awareness to this issue.  Children are people to, and don't deserve to be mistreated in anyway Smiley

7604  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: World of Warcraft/MMORPG Board? on: September 13, 2009 01:25:38 PM
I know there are quite a few MMORPGer's on this site, lots of em love WoW.  Personally I left WoW to create more, funny thing is I've been creating inspired by WoW with my lack of actual game play Smiley fun!  Anyway... Yay for WoW and other MMORPGS!
7605  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / To make my own WPI..... on: September 13, 2009 01:14:34 PM
Okay so I'm mildly confused here.  I want to make a WPI tool.  Here I am searching methods and coming up with things that confuse the snot out of me.  example:  One site says to take a 1/4 dowel and mark 1 inch and wrap.  Next site says take a piece of wood that is one inch tall by 6 or so inches long and mark off 1 inch and wrap.  Now maybe it's just perspective, but would that not yield two different counts? I'd test it out if I had the mats at hand, but my chance of getting to a hardware store is slim atm... Does anyone have a pattern or link to a pattern for one of these?

(and yes, I know a standard ruler would work just fine, but I want to make something perty... cause I'm intoxicated with spining tools to.. not just spinning...)

7608  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: The "other mother" costume? on: September 12, 2009 07:13:23 PM
My question here is how do you see beyond the buttons?  or do you have to take them off to see?  A friend of mine lives in the Pink Palace (seriously.) We are doing up her home with a Pink Palace sign and bobinsky sign... and other small touches I'm sure, but we are also lost on the eyes bit, since she will be  the other mother, handing out candy... Cheesy  We may just paint on some buttons though.  We'll see what comes of the answer to seeing thru the buttons.
