7395  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Latest News / Annoying Roll Over Ad's on: November 24, 2009 05:30:02 PM
I'm not sure which board to put this on.... So here it goes.

Is anyone else getting the " My Generation Checking" roll over add?  The one that if you inadvertantly roll over (which happens to me often, because of the placement, being it is the banner add) it fills up 1/2 your screen, covering the first bit of every post?  It seems to be coming up every 4of5 or so pages, so it's getting quite annoying.  If I roll over it, I can't get to the board I was on without waiting or clicking the close option.   Anyway, is there something to be done for at least the frequency of the add?

*if this needs to be moved, could a mod please move it?  I couldn't find the board that these kinda things normaly goes up on... I've never payed much attention... Smiley*

good gracious.. "At Will".... yowza, fired because they wanted to fire you.... yikes... That only flies here if you are under probabtion still - which means in your first 3 months of employment, after that you need 1 week notice, and after 1 year of employment you need 2 weeks.

' I still hope you find even part time employment at a starbucks or something... a little something to help you get by Smiley  We are all rooting for you!

love em, as usual.
I think its awesome that in the back ground you are surrounded by older ladies and typical craft show stuff that older ladies would buy for them selves.  Good for you for breaking the mould!

Sadly Florida is a "right to work" state meaning they can fire you if they don't like your hair color. You have no recourse for anything unless it's a federally protected issue like being fired for gender.

I'm going to file for unemployment but being part-time, I have no idea what if anything I can get from it. Undecided

Well that's ridiculous.  And the name sounds contradictory.  It should be called the "you have no right to work if you are to different" state.  Man I'm glad I live in Canada....   Hopefully Unemployment gives you at least a little something to help you get by...
