Freestyle and I agreed to a larger swap, so our pics will likely be similar to those seen so far.  But really 3oz +1 small seems to be something not many are sticking to lol...

Don't know nuttin about Sleeping Beauty drum carders ...

The tpi is for course & medium wools.  I don't think I'd even put any fine wools through that for fear of it nepping and pilling up too much.  I'd pass and get one with more tpi ... 72 at the least, 128? (120 something) is even better.

awesome, thank you Cyndi!  I wasn't sure, but I thought it looked a little coarse...  I was thinking a 90tpi+ carder... I want to beable to do merino and silk on it, as well as anything else I come across that looks spinnable...  I'm thinking my best bet is to hold out until xmas and send my husband emails with links of drum carders, though he does know I'm looking.  Maybe he'll get the hint.... Smiley

oh and Hey Nessssssssse!!!!!!!!!! Cheesy

gorgeous dress!  well done for having waited 10 years to make another!  I also say a lace cami, cause you can switch out the color of the cami.  If you wanted flair, you could wear a red/ burgundy cami, if you wanted something muted, you could go with a green or another shade of brown Smiley

k sleeping beauty drum carder, made in New Zealand
Don't know many specifics and the lady selling doesn't seem to know much about it, but she did send me a pic.  here it is:

Doesn't look to me like a very fine cloth, but I've never seen a carder up close and personal.  But the finer the cloth the more I'll beable to do with it, right?  She wants 300$ for it, but I'd dicker with her, so hopefully I could manage to get it for that much including shipping or perhaps less....
whatcha think?
