7212  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / itty bitty sock monkey on: February 12, 2010 11:33:43 AM
This cutey was made with the socks for my new little baby girl.  It's the smallest socks you can find (or at least I can find)  Anyway she is about 2.75 inches tall and from her butt to her toes is 2.5 inches long.  I added the felt heart, because it's near valentines day and yeah I have hearts with love written on them on the mind.   Roll Eyes
Anyway here she is, to cute!  In my hand for a bit of a size reference:

enjoy her sweetness!

I actually have something to contribute!
My son and I spun this up on a lace weight spindle, mind you it's no where near laceweight, just straight from pencil roving (my heavier spindle is in use)  But it worked.  Anyway, I'm going to send this off to pluckyfluff... now I just have to figure out how to share this on ravelry too... I forget lol
Merino- pretty colors -??yards

happy fiber friday!

very cute!  while I agree that they are a bit low rise, it looks like they would be about the right length, but that may be the angle of the second photograph.  but they do make great house pants either way Smiley
