you all probably won't get nuddy pics of me.... Lets just say despite them being artful, they didn't quite turn out so good... lol Or, maybe i can edit them to make them more awesome...  You're still not getting them though (this round anyway... ;P )

Yowza!  last time I came to read the thread, it was page 7... You all had a lot to say!

I'm thinking of sticking with my concept of making a few art pieces (self portraits) scanning them, and having them printed off. Might do some photo editing too... It would be really tricky and hard on my hands to make 25+little felted me's....

Sweet!  I'm in!  You all will be my guinea pigs Wink  I've had an idea like this for a while (Creating art and making prints, basically... but i've been chicken to figure out the photoshop thing...)  This'll be fun!

Okay... question... Can I create felt art, have it scanned, fix it up in a photoshop like program,  and then print them off? I really like this idea....

And I don't know, I don't think it's frivolous at all! If you say that, all art and crafts are frivolous, because we don't *need* them, except we do, to make us happy, and making people happy is not a frivolous pursuit! I can guarantee you, as a knitter and crocheter, buying new handspun yarn is definitely a happier moment than getting commercial yarn (though that has its place, as well). Smiley

True! Good points.

Jex, I should get better at posting more often again.... I'm spinning, mostly homework, but that's soo close to over. I'm taking the summer off to play though. because seriously, I'm in need of fun!

Thanks Smeddley!   It has taken a lot of dedication to get to this point.  But it's been worth it, even if spinning is kind of a frivolous ability. (as in we don't need to spin to stay warm anymore, just because we can and want to)
