we missed an item when posting pics!  I kept meaning to do this sooner, but with the begining of kindergarten I'm feeling frazzeled!

and the finished product of the stock car that goes with the train!

I can't wait until tankrgrl and Kyle get home today! they are going to love thier package, I just know it.

Yay! the fabulous package from Lukenlarry and Kyle!

This fabulous train that Deklan has been running around with for days!

And this kit for a stock car to go with.  Which was built instantly. But he was heavy handed with the glue that came with, and the regular white glue we used for the rest of the parts isn't holding up quite as weel, so there's already fixing to be done Smiley

A picnic kit, crayons, shakers,  rocks and a puzzle!

Thank you so much you guys!  Deklan loves it!  We hope to have a picnic sometime soon, before it get's to cold.  And those rocks are now 'decoratively' placed all over the house Smiley

haha me to!  I'm living vicariously through this poppet.  She'll have uber stretched ears and loads of piercings and dreads...... Here's her body and head (taken on the web cam again..just quicker.  I'll take better pics when she's completed!)

335  Thomas the Tank Engine cake in Dessert by Belladune on: August 16, 2010 10:41:53 AM
A friend of mine's Son turned 3.  He requested a Thomas cake, and His Mom asked me to make it.  Of course!  I love making cake!  Especially cakes that are intricate and require carving!

There are 3 cakes (batches of cake) in this giant cake.  It had to have weighed at least 10 Lbs.  Frosted with butter cream frosting and the face is made of Marshmellow fondant.  It was devoured.  Which is awesome.  I love seeing the cake disappear!

comments and criticism welcome!

Link to the how to I used for the face!

Here's package 3 from Missing Muse

She tells me there is more to come, life is crazy and she hasn't had as much time to craft as she would have liked.  But that's okay. I think this is great!

Felt language cards for me and the kids!  English, Spanish, French and Mandarin (?)

Thank you missing Muse!!!

337  Re: Teesha Moore Type Journal.. anyone want to play?? in Needlework: Stitchalongs by Belladune on: August 16, 2010 10:26:16 AM
here it is! what I've been working on!  It's a bowl!  It isn't finished, still needs embelishments, but I've got tonight for that!  I love this no swapping thing... So much more time for me!  ( a little selfish, but everyone needs "me" time, once and a while Smiley )

This is the site I got the bowl pattern from.  http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.com/2009/03/tutorial-quilted-bowl.html

338  Embroidered notebooks in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Belladune on: August 03, 2010 07:19:35 PM
I wasn't sure wether I should put these here or in embroidery... But since I bound them myself (more or less following a couple of the links on this board on how to bind) I figured they'd go here nicely.
They were made for tlh878 for the August MOH Swap.  The odd Holiday was Sisters Day.  Which is why the insides had some word doodles.

i'm not the most super paper crafter, but I was pretty proud of 'em. (even if I mixed my ability to embroider them.... :/)

The design on the cover is Urbanthreads.com : Let Love and Friendship Reign.

I recieved my fantabulous package from   tlh878!!!!

Sisters day:  Hand made cards!

I like these two bestest!

Get ready for Kindergarten Month:  Pencil case and lined lunch bag  Cheesy  Deklan loves em!  As an added bonus, Deklan got a superman pillow!

And Wiggle your toes day!  I totally forgot I even chose that holiday.... So the little rug was a total surprise!  It now lives happily under my computer desk, where I can wiggle my toes in it often!

thank you so much Tlh878!!  love it all!

340  Re: Canadian 55cent swap? in New Swap Theme Ideas by Belladune on: July 29, 2010 01:43:50 PM
here are a couple pics of an acceptable envelope piled with 30g worth of goodies.  The challenge might be keeping it under 1/2 cm thick!

**Official stuff from my handy post office guide Cheesy  :
Envelopes Maximum: 245mm x156mm x5mm
Cards Maximum: 235mm x120mm x5mm
Minimum: 140mm x90mm x.18mm (but whos gonna try and send something that small! we wanna stuff em as best we can!)
Max weight: 30g**

So you will have your choice or card envelope and standard letter envelope.  how ever you can fit more or what you have, it's up to you which to use Cheesy
