My sewing machine gets here tomorrow (yee haw!!!) and the first thing I want to do is sew a nice jacket for my toy poodle. Poor thing is freezing. I clip him short, so in the winter he needs something extra. I figure something small like a dog jacket would be easy to practice on... and who is he to complain if the stitches aren't perfect, or the seams are crooked? LOL
I am a quick learner, and really want to know how to draft a pattern for a dog. Thanks!
I like the fish themed something idea. Definitly make some cute little fish to live in your beautiful coral!... If it was a wee smaller I thought it would be neat as an embellishment on a hat... or a purse... or a pin.
It is soooooo hard to choose. I want something a little more than basic, as I am a quick learner, and because I have to have it hahaha. Anyways, I was looking at the Janome sew precise (for a digital) and the Janome 4623LE for a mechanical.
I don't want to spend MORE than 300 dollars. I am a begining sewer getting her very own (and FIRST!) machine. HELP! I am lost in the world of sewing machine jargon! Oh, and since I am posting in the clothing board, I will be mostly sewing clothes. Eventualy I want to get a serger.... but the sewing machine first!
