I like this piece...a lot!  I think the variegated floss looks just fine, the colors are perfect for fall.  The song excerpt is adorable too.

Wow- fantastic!  Great combination of stitching, poetry, and imagery.  So many possibilities for this type of piece too.  I want to see more stitched poems.  Pretty please, can you make some more awesome stuff?

This is beyond lovely.  I think the fill on the skirt looks nice, it makes it seem like a flowing fabric.  Very nice job!!!

Oh, if you couldn't find peachy aida, a light blue might look nice.  Just because she was sooo pale, and especially if you have any type of silver/ metallic for jewelry and such.  Just a thought, good luck!
