31  Zombie Cupcake in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by mafiosagrrl on: August 12, 2009 08:31:29 PM
Who say all cupcakes have to be yummy looking?? When I saw the tutorial posted I remembered I'd always wanted to make these.
I give you the Zombie Cupcake!!
Front- i think it's the eyeball that does it for me.

The back.  I originally wanted to make the cupcake part of the lime green, but since I didn't have that color felt I figured I had to get that color in there somehow, so it's guts are peeking through.

Brain Shot!

32  Fly United! Tattoo inspired sculpture in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by mafiosagrrl on: June 29, 2009 05:12:24 PM
Normally I'm over on the needlework board but I'm venturing out! This is a piece I made a while back.  It's made entirely from aluminum flashing with the exception of the two rivets that hold on the flowers.  It's based on a old Sailor Jerry tattoo.

33  Shoes, shoes, shoes in Needlework: Completed Projects by mafiosagrrl on: June 15, 2009 11:55:59 AM
I made this for Emelda Marcos, my mom.  She is a former model and fashion consultant so the woman has entirely too many shoes.  I figured I'd make her an apron so she doesn't mess up one of the ridiculously nice outfits she's dressed in when she cooks. (she's not very practical  Cheesy )  The pattern was free on Pimp Stitch.  It was my first time crayon tinting and i love how it came out.

These are my favorite parts of a pair of towels I stitched up for my brother-in-law and his wife.
