Alrighty... Hold onto your mustaches!!  It's time for me to brag about my totally awesome package I got today from ________.   Wink

First off:  Everything just out of the box.  Items were wrapped in some fab green and white striped fabric that I will totally use!  And sitting on top was this awesome mustache pillow!  It is fantastic!

Size reference.  (Ya know, if a 4yo had a giant, plush-stache!  Wink )

The fabric-wrapped goodies included:
An awesome crocheted bag.  Too cute and in a stitch that I cannot figure out!!  (sorry for the blurry pic.)

A mustache pin and ornament.  (YAY for holiday-stache!)

And if I couldn't giggle enough over all of the mustache goodness, I got something totally awesome and proudly displayed in my crafting area!

Almost everything that __________ made me was inspired by my wist!  Everything was so beautifully done.  I love it all!

Thank You SO much, MandyLikesPie!!  I am absolutely thrilled!

I am finished with my block and will be taking it to the PO tomorrow morning!  It is kind of hard to make out the cables in the picture, but they are there!!  I am sooooo in love with cables right now and have a new cable stitch pattern book that I hope to make lots of use of for everyone's scarves!

54  Re: Owl Swap Round 6 Gallery HOOT HOOT send by 2/25/09 in The Swap Gallery by elociNNicole on: February 21, 2009 11:48:55 AM
And on with the pictures!

mamaAnn sent me a fabulous package!

First off, this is how the box got to me!  I don't know what is going on with my local USPS but almost everything I receive is damaged or opened.  Everything except my bills that is!  Everything was wrapped up in tissue paper, I just put it back in the box to take a picture of what it looked like before I opened it up.

This is the adorable card that her daughter made for me!  I love it!  MamaAnn, please Thank her for it for me!

An awesome owl pillow!  I love the colors!  Too cute!

A little notepad and pen with a hand stamped cover.  I needed a new notepad for my purse!  This is perfect!

A cute little denim purse with an awesome owl!

And whats that in the purse...
Cute little owl extras!

I also got this fantastic owl scrapbook!  I love this!

I am sorry there are so many pics, I just couldn't leave any out!  These are adorable paper owl notes.  With googly eyes!  My kids tried stealing these right away!

MamaAnn also included this cute owl dish.  I love the hearts on it!

There was also some chocolate which I quickly hid from all of the other chocoholics in the house!  Thank You soooo much mamaAnn!  This was such a great package!

YAY!  So, after many days of stalking my poor mail carrier and then some mix ups, I finally received some inchie love!

(Sorry about the delay in posting pics... ya know, work, kids, life, blah blah blah...)

First, from audio-astrophysics; which I thought I would never see other then on the gallery!  ellenmarie was the super hero in this instance!

I love the 'extraordinary' one on top!    Thank You audio-astrophysics!!

I also received from myklia!  'Big and Messy' is by far my favorite!  Was this part of your roving experiment?  I love it nonetheless!  Thank You myklia!!!!

AND... If ellenmarie didn't already go out of her way to resend my inchies that accidentally went to her.... She sent me 3 extra inchies!!!  The Green Firework one on top is my favorite from her!  I think it was made with embossing powder... Anyways... It is really pretty!  Thank You ellenmarie for sending those out to me and for the extras!

57  Re: Wow! I have a lot of ______ SWAP Gallery in The Swap Gallery by elociNNicole on: February 05, 2009 05:58:32 AM
And on to the pictures....

My package from VinceNoir came wrapped in brown paper.  Upon removing said paper, this was the box my goodies were packed in:

My 4yo son was SOOOO excited!  "We got crackers in the mail!!!!" he exclaimed!  It was so funny!

Inside, much to HIS disappointment (not mine!!!)... zippers!  Actually, he was kind of excited to see the zippers and proceeded to bring me a sweatshirt that has a broken zipper to fix for him...

Thank You VinceNoir!!

So, you would think that a light bulb would have gone off sooner then the fourth hat... but no, it did not.

the first four hats are kind of big (I think anyways) so I have a 2 smaller ones finished except for weaving in the ends.  (only one is pictured, but I do have 2 small ones done.)

What do you think?  Should I send the 4 bigger ones in anyways?

And.... my goodies from dancingqueen73:

4 skeins of Patons Classic Wool 'Merino' in a really pretty navy!
(I opened one of them and cast on hours after receiving them!)

Tried to get a better shot of the color:

AND.... if the yarn wasn't fab enough, 4 pairs of bamboo straight needles (notice, beginning of project on one set already!   Cheesy)  and one pair of clover bamboo circular needles!

Thanks Again, dancingqueen73!!

I am hoping to be a bit further with my project to post pics of them.  (Awesome cabled, lace up leg warmers that I have been wisting over for a long time now!!!!  I had to adjust the pattern a bit for gauge, which is why I only have 1.5 rows done.   Embarrassed )

Lady Llanalla is freaking awesome!  She and I were swap partners on a previous swap and if we were neighbors we would do cookouts and stuff.

Her and her soapy, crafting, awesomeness sent me a package full of goodies that I wanted to share:

First:  4 humongous bars of 'Tree Hugger" soap.  I love this stuff so much!  It is great for shaving!  Smells so good!

closeup of the texture and color:

and because I have inquired about soap making since I am thinking of doing so for family and friends for christmas '09 she sent bags full of spices and herbs for cooking, sachet making, and of course, soap making!!

And she also sent me some fragrance oils!  4 bottles!!!!

Lady Llanalla, you totally rock!  Thank You sooooo much!!!!
