1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Fake Lilly pulitzer dress on: September 01, 2008 12:23:49 PM
I made this one from cotton fabric I found at walmart for 3$ a yard. The pattern is new look 6774 with some changes. I told my friends it was a real Lilly Pulitzer and they believed me.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / New look 6774 with shirred back on: September 01, 2008 12:08:46 PM
Another new look 6774. The fabric was 1$ from walmart so really this is a 5$ dress. Its one of my favorites so far. The shirred back is one big piece of fabric.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / new look 6774 blue and white dress on: September 01, 2008 12:00:34 PM
I made this one from fabric my mom bought years ago. It was my first time doing a zipper  it turned out pretty well but I couldn't get the picture to upload. It has patch pockets but I matched them up so they are hard to see. The top is a 14 with extra gathering and the bottom is a 10. It is a little bit gappy because I hadn't figured out how to use elastic thread yet.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Purple Shirred waist dress on: September 01, 2008 11:20:39 AM
The pattern is from and old dress I had a wore for years. Instead of elastic under the bust I added shirring. Fabrick is cheap broadcloth .

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / new look 6774 blue and green bow dress on: September 01, 2008 10:58:05 AM
I pieced together different sizes to get a good fit and used elastic thread on the neck and arm holes to prevent gaping. Fabric is cheap cotton broad cloth.
