Yay I received my package yesterday! It's so awesome, tons of scrapbooking stuff and some beads and things mixed in too! I'll post pics when I find the camera cord.

I bought a small flat rate box. That thing is tiny! I can only afford to ship that one right now though, and I'm sure I've got some amazing tiny stuff to destash Cheesy

Yay! I just sent in my info. I've been meaning to go through the stuff in my craft room lately and can't get motivated to do it. Maybe a deadline and a partner for inspiration will help!
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! on: January 11, 2011 11:28:34 AM
Wow, I'm suprised at the number of people that still sew on old machines. Compared to most of the stuff on here, mine's brand spanking new!

This is mine, I got it from my grandmother about...10 or more years ago. It still works beautifully. (please mind the mess)

I think my favourite part is the super indestructable steel case it comes in.

I have almost exactly the same machine! I think mine may be a bit different, as the knobs on mine are white plastic. I loooove it, and it just feels like quality with all the metal parts. I haven't had much trouble out of it...which is especially great considering I got it at a yard sale for $10 a few years ago. Yay for twin machines!

Yay I've not swapped for almost a year and I really want to do this one! I had so much fun with it last year.

i love the lettering too. Also we bought the same exact crib, dresser, and changing table! we haven't decorated yet though as we have one more week to find out if its a boy or girl!

Eee how exciting! I love the set and it was really reasonably priced, but I think we may have put the dresser together wrong or something...the middle drawer comes off track ALL THE TIME. Drives me crazy! Be sure to update and let us know whether it's a girl or a boy!

hey! guess what??? Its a girl!!!! so excited!  I recently decided on the theme from Target, it is Circo brand, Love and Nature. there's ALL diff colors and owls and trees and stuff. I might make a post when I get more done in the nursery, right now we just have the furniture up and the paint color is staying. It's a very bright turquoise/teal. we might move in the next year or so and i dont want to paint again right now.

Yayy! I know exactly which theme you're talking about, too! I loved it but couldn't use it because green doesn't go with the other colors I chose.

Also found out yesterday that I'm being induced tomorrow morning- I'll have my baby girl by the weekend!
9  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: What are your favorite salad toppings/ingredients? on: May 13, 2010 08:47:45 AM
My favorite salad goes like this:

Spring mix
Mandarin oranges
Sliced almonds
Water chestnuts
Diced red onion
Those crunchy noodles you find in the asian food aisle (to replace croutons)
Grilled or sauteed chicken (or marinated grilled tofu)
Asian sesame dressing

Oh my goodness it is delicious. It's kind of like one Wendy's used to have but stopped carrying.
