1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Feeling kind of lost and dumb on: December 18, 2008 03:04:50 PM
I knit the hat for the mohawk hat from punk knits but can't figure out how to put the fringe on.

What am I missing?  It's got to be simple.  I get how to do it on an edge but this is not done on an edge
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / knitting over buttons on: August 29, 2008 04:39:21 PM
I have an awesome top my MIL made me but the buttons she put on are all wrong and I want to jut take what she has on there and knit around/over them so the knitting covers them.  Clear as mud?  lol

How do I do this?  There are others she's done where she's crocheted over buttons but I don't really crochet.
