1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Heavy duty sewing machine help on: April 20, 2011 11:09:21 AM
Is there a machine that is good for sewing heavy duty fabrics and dedicates? Or is it the needle that matters, or both?
2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Leela from Futurama for my daughter HELP PLEASE!!! on: October 02, 2010 07:13:47 AM
I love this idea for a little one!
Instead of boots maybe you can make some kind of shoe cover out of felt or something. It would be a lot more comfortable and probably a lot cheaper.
As for the eye....I have no idea lol. I was thinking an eye patch with a painted eye but that would make it difficult for her to see....maybe if you put it on her forehead? I don't know but good luck!

He could be conjoined twins. Maybe find a soft doll that you could sew to a one piece body suit.

I think you did a fantastic job with the steampunk bracelet. It looks a lot like the original. I love the necklace too, even though I'm not a twilight fan. Both are beautiful Smiley

9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Homemade Tattoo Gun on: October 24, 2008 12:01:04 PM
Hahaha this is great! I am one of those stupid people that tattooed myself when I was 16, only I used just a needle attached to a pen and some indian ink. One of them actually came out pretty good and the others were horrible.(like everyone else said DO NOT TATTOO YOURSELF) I have since invested in some real equipment including a tattoo gun...yes I said gun, get over it. This brought back some fond memories. Thanks!
