5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Single crochet. Help! on: January 04, 2009 01:48:46 PM
I literally started learning crochet about an hour ago. I've looked at loads of tutorial websites and stuff but when it comes to single crochet in a chain, you're supposed to start the single crochet in the second chain from the hook right? But then do I do the next sc in the next chain or do i miss out a chain and do it in the one after?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smiley

Maybe you could put in alphabet beads so they have to find words to spell. Or you could cater the contents of the bag to the interests of the child so have a little model spiderman in there or something.
