thanks roxybadoxy!!  i use Directions by LaRiche in alpine green i leave it in for hours (thats the best way, so your hair can soak up as much colour as it can)  when its first dyed it s this colour (on the left 3rd colour down) http://vags.net/media/items/large/3da4b4388361c.jpg

that's the same brand i use, turquoise rocks! i also did mine purple but i dont think it even lasted the week.. i llove your eyeliner also, i have a bit of a love for turquoise...and green....

although im worried about the elastic band, i know the reed needs something that allows it the vibrate, but if you really want to go the whole 'lets make a homemade pre-historic clarinet' why not use twine like they used to? Tongue hehe
