1  Re: Show off your hair! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by emy on: August 20, 2005 08:21:44 AM
wow, you all have amazing hair!! i'm a little boring really in comparison..
I just put some streaks of turquoise and purple through one side of my hair..any more and i think my collage would throw me out..they're pretty strict about that kinda thing, although they pretty much let you wear what you want! weird..

anyway onto the pics...

this is me..please ignore the weird pose..i have a habit of not looking normal on photos..it doesn't really show my hair very well either but i can't find a decent picture of me with it down, so this'll have to do.

this one shows the colour a little better..i've got my hair twisted back into two 'chopstick twist' things as i call them..

Oh and i recently cut my own hair for the first time, it was a successful operation and i'm glad i saved myself some money! I think i'm more happy doing it myself because i can be exactly sure it's what i want. I like my hair quite choppy anyway..and it's layered at shoulder length if you can't tell by the pics..

enough from me..happy hairwatching!

2  Re: Butthole surfers? The Notwist? Ellen Allien? Sigur Ros? in Stenciling: Discussion and Questions by emy on: June 04, 2005 09:53:17 AM
I don't know if you've looked at this page for sigur rs pictures, but there are some really good ones that you could turn into stencils on their site,(http://www.sigur-ros.co.uk/media/art.html) for example this one:

alternatively, if you wanted a specific image turned into a stencil, i'm sure someone around here wouldn't mind helping you out Smiley

3  Lego and bead earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by emy on: November 14, 2004 06:09:08 AM
Cheesy yey, im finally posting something i made!

Basically, I heated the pointy end of a safety pin using a candle, mmm scented.., and poked a hole through both ends of the lego.
Then I threaded the wire, 0.6mm aluminium silver plated, through and twisted it around the beads and attatched the earring things, i cant remember what they're called right now, to the top Cheesy

(please excuse the image quality..and i also think i need to clean the scanner Smiley)
