you can use a felting needle, it works better on looser hairs.  be gentle with it.

what format is your art?  how big?  i have small wooden paintings and the last show i did i put crumpled packaging under my table cloth and arrayed them all higgledy-piggeldy - it worked with my style.  i also have a more vertical kind of rack i put them on.

Hey guys,
i just wanted to note that something i've heard people say a lot "I don't think i lost any sales from not taking CCs" isn't always exactly accurate.  A lot of times people will assume you don't take them, unless you have a sign or something otherwise.  They'll usually ask only if they really want a particular thing and don;t have enough cash.  One thing I've seen people do is get those visa-mc-discover stickers and put them on the edges of their mirror, people are sure to notice them there.  I have a little sign saying i take them and still get asked if i do all the time.

it's over fast and the result lasts forever Smiley

the wool most definitely becomes permanent, i have some little silver metal things that have too - the hair just grows over and around everything like kudzu.

the fresh dreads are all raggedy and hairs keep falling out entirely as well as the problem of sticking to each other.  just wear a hat and plan to do a little maintenance every day, until they get coherent.

here is some wool felted in; i put it on like beads in the formation process and it is now unremovable.  I tried putting some lengthwise with the dread and it didn't work nearly as well.

wow, your way is way better!  I guess I should have included the caveat that my dreads are also full of lots of wool and ribbons and things.  Wink
