So i've always liked the colors pink and black together so moving into my new apartment, i knew i wanted my room to be those colors. I saw posts about using adhesive shelf liners as wall decals, it took my a while to figure out what kind of design i wanted to do with them but i finally came up with the stars. It took me forever to cut them all out but it was worth it!













the only problem that i'm having is that my wall is textured so a couple of the stars are having a hard time sticking. does anyone have any suggestions on a type of adhesive or anything to get them to stick better? (keep in mind, i'm only renting so i have to take them down in a year)

My brother graduated from college the summer and had a graduation party. I love doing little crafts and stuff so I decided to make his cake for the party. I've never really decorated a cake before (besides just plain icing it) so I was a little nervous it wouldn't turn out but actually I was very pleased with it!!

[Hey guys!! i need your help!!! So, I just moved into my new apartment and I'm really excited because I decided on a new color theme for my room that i absolutely love, its hot pink and black! I just moved in a few days ago so I'm still in the process of moving my stuff in but I've started the decorating. here are a few pictures of what i have so far: (sorry about the dirty, fingerprinted mirrors, haven't washed them yet)Now I still have a couple walls (like the rest of the wall with the window) that are still very white and I was inspired by this post about the vinyl wall decals: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259983.0i really loved their idea and went out and bought adhesive shelf liner and pink and black paint to cut out some shapes to stick on my walls. But my only problem is I cant decide on what kind of shapes to cut out. I might just do the ellipses like in the tutorial, but does anyone have any other ideas that would look cute??]
