I made another Urban Threads design while on vacation.  I actually worked on it on the plane - they let my blunt needle through security!



It's done on a light yellow lightweight canvas.  Again, as with my other Urban Threads dinosaur Rawr, I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm thinking I may want to experiment with coloring it with crayons, and maybe putting it on a messenger bag. 

I just got my package today from wx2dzug. It was really heavy!

Wx2dzug, I don't know how you knew I really needed a "rice buddy" heating pad! I have been looking for one for a while and this is perfect!

I love the soft fabric.

I also got a personalized mug with cute leaves drawn all over it.  My name is an odd one, so it's nice to have something with my name on it.


My package smelled so nice (and drove my dog nuts!) because it had apple cider mulling spices in it.  I can't wait to make some nice spiced wine or apple juice.  I love the cinnamon sticks too.

I also got some fabulous coasters! They are all different with a fall theme.

Lastly, wx2dzug sent my dog some cookies.  He sniffed the package because he know something was in there for him.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I am thinking about a tshirt, and shorts is a great idea - I have the perfect pair for it. 

I'm new to this section of Craftster - I usually post in the crochet or plushies section.  I recently discovered Urban Threads from one of the banners on this site.  I don't have a machine to embroider, but I do like to do stuff by hand. I haven't embroidered in years, but the patterns Urban Threads have are so cute!
This is my dinosaur. He's done with very simple stitching, as it's my first embroidery project in a while. He's done on some fabric from a wornout pair of my husband's shorts.  The colors aren't quite right in the picture - they are lighter in real life.
Now that he's done, I'm not quite sure what to do with him. Any suggestions?

Update!!
I took everyone's suggestions and decided to put it on a shirt like a patch.  I just stitched around it on my machine a few times. I'm going to wear it to work tomorrow.

I just received the most amazing package from Bobomom.  Everything is amazing.  I'll post pictures as soon as I can (but I'm busy working on Bobomom's package!).  Do we have a gallery?

I went to see District 9 last weekend (great movie!) and loved the signs they had around in the movie of where prawns were prohibited from going.  I decided to make this shirt.  I used contact paper and cut out the prawn alien shape. Then I used a 50-50 bleach water solution and sprayed it on around the shape.
