1  Re: Frozen Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Bobomom on: March 27, 2014 07:03:51 PM
I received from dearjoan today!  It is such a great package! Everything I can totally use (and will!!!) everyday.

First of all - the group shot!  Frozen goodness!  She sent me a lunch bag (I so needed and wanted a new one!), a mug, stickers (I love stickers and they are sparkly!) and a patch.

Now closeups of her amazing talent! Olaf and Sven are so cute! They are so detailed and spot on!  I am totally using my new bag for my lunch tomorrow for work! I think I'm going to mount and frame the Sven patch and hang him on my craft room wall.

Next is the mug!  This is so cute and awesome! It will be great for my hot chocolates!

Thank you dearjoan! You are amazingly talented!  Having you as a swap partner has been a blast!

I love Marie! I might have to make myself a shirt like that! I love the passport holder and headband - great ideas!

I received from mom2em yesterday! Check out all my Disney goodness!

It's kind of hard to see in this pic, but it's a pillowcase for my king size pillow!  I love this fabric and I love pillowcases! It's wrinkled because I just washed it because I can't wait to put it on my bed!

Some cool really useful items for our trip (we are going to WDW and then a Disney cruise in October).  A "Do not Disturb" sign for our door - because it's our 16th anniversary Smiley.  An envelope for tipping Mousekeeping, and an adorable luggage tag!

A Mickey applique! I might use this on a shirt or scrapbooking!  Also an adorable little mini book so I can record all our fun!  And my very first ATC!!!  So cool!!

And lastly, (I think these are my favorite!) - ears! Duffy is modeling, but I put another pic below!  The headband is covered in Minnie ribbon!

Thank you mom2em! I am so excited to go on my trip and bring all my awesome Disney things with me!

The sun printing, bleach printing and stamp printing are amazing!  I am definitely going to try those out!

I received from loulew28 yesterday! Check it out - unicorns!  I am so into unicorns right now!  I love the purple on the pink with some white - it is very 80s!

Thank you loulew28 - this is perfect! I think I might make a pillow out of it, with some purple fun fur for the backing!

4  Gnome and Unicorn goodness! in Needlework: Completed Projects by Bobomom on: June 05, 2013 11:50:04 AM
I love this image!  I made this embroidery pattern from Urban Threads completely by hand! I worked on it off and on for about 2 months!  My hand is tired from holding the hoop all the time. It's all just satin stitch/stitching to fill in all the open spaces.  I painted a frame all sparkly and framed it.

Thanks for looking!

5  Spongebob Doll Quilt! in Quilting: Completed Projects by Bobomom on: May 28, 2013 09:51:41 AM
Hi
I made another doll quilt this weekend - using up some of my Spongebob fabric stash.
I'm going to try another quilt soon with triangles and maybe some free motion quilting or hand quilting.

Doesn't Patrick look so happy with his quilt!

Thanks for looking!

I received my fabric from Eiseldora last night! I was so excited when I opened it! I love Disney!

Look! She screen printed Mickey heads all over the fabric!  And she said it was her first time screen printing! Amazing! I love it!

My dog Bobo had to check it out!

Since we swapped a yard, I think I will be making a bag and some wall art (I think I will stretch it onto a canvas frame).

Thank you Eiseldora - this fabric is soo awesome!

7  First quilt! [Disney Doll Quilt] in Quilting: Completed Projects by Bobomom on: May 21, 2013 02:44:08 PM
I'm so excited! I made my first quilt! It's a doll quilt and I used this tutorial from sewmamasew.
http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2009/02/sewmamasew-doll-quilt-sew-along-part-1/

It was very easy and fun to do! I have alot of Disney fabric, so I thought I would use some of my stash. I haven't quilted before, and it was fun.  I did stitch in the ditch machine quilting.

I think I might try one with a different pattern for the next one.
Thanks for looking!

8  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, 2013 in The Swap Gallery by Bobomom on: May 01, 2013 06:46:31 PM
I did a personal swap with RikaHeart. I had carved her some Star Trek stamps for the Easter Swap, and she mentioned she would like some Dr. Who stamps, so we did a swap.  She had made some AWESOME Star Trek cards using the stamps I made her and I loved them - so she made me some!!!

Aren't they the best!

Close ups of a few

I think I might frame the Picard one and I will use one for my Dad for Father's day.

And I love Disney's "Bolt" so she stitched me a hoop! I love the black on white stitching!

These are the stamps I carved for her.

Thank you RikaHeart! This was great!

9  Re: Stuff an Easter Basket Swap 2-Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Bobomom on: March 18, 2013 06:42:05 PM
Okay, not to be outdone by the awesome baskets that are showing up - I received from RikaHeart today!

First of all, this adorably wrapped basket!

Next to it in the box were these really creative and cute plastic egg wreaths! I specifically asked for some wreaths and decorations I could bring on the cruise I'm going on to decorate the cabin (we will be sailing over Easter).  My dog loves to "crack" open plastic eggs for treats so I had to take these away from him before he thought they were his!

I realized after I posted the pics as I was hanging a wreath up that they are made with wire so they can be shaped into a wreath shape and still keep the eggs on there nicely!

Some totally kawaii lollipops and a really cute beaded house. I always admire those who can make 3-D beaded objects.

I got some windchimes! I've never had these! I can't wait to put them out by the pool. Also some scented sticks - another item I've never had - these should smell great!  And this handmade message board.  Some of the words came off during shipping - I will place them better after I post this.

Disney pins! These came from someone who works at Disney! And more candy!

And the basket was filled with eggs with yummy flavored tootsie rolls! I'm not usually a fan of tootsie rolls, but these taste soooo good! I immediately ate one and I even let my husband have one!

And last but not least, the sweetest little bunny!  I love its face and the fleece is so soft!  I think he will be coming on my cruise too!

Thank you RikaHeart! This basket was perfect!

I received from cabaute today!  Check out all the cute fabrics! I love the Easter one and the foxes are too adorable!  And cooking owls!  And the travel one will be great because we have an upcoming vacation.  I also got some cute ice cream stickers! Thank you cabaute!
