You're welcome! You'll have to share whatever fun things you two come up with! Cheesy

Adorable, how much money would you say you spend making each dinosaur roughly?

I'd prefer not to say since I do sell them on etsy. The material cost isn't ridiculous, but each dino takes several days to make.
Hope you understand Smiley

Plus it would be a really fun project to work on together! It's like a coloring book where you can paint your sheep any color you like, then PLAY with it Smiley

So after I painted up my Teal Reindeer, I got super excited about the idea of making a ton of colorful reindeers. This guy is my second one. I painted his body a really pretty purple, did his hooves yellow (with gold sparkle) and black antlers (with a TON of silver glitter). His antlers were all squished from sitting at the bin at the craft store which is why they lean to the side a little. I still luff him though <3

I'm having so much fun with these guys Smiley

The first one I did; a lovely teal and purple Reindeer!

Haha thanks. I'm slowly working on taking better pictures of my projects and I found that felt the other day at Hobby Lobby. Gonna try to use it in a lightbox somehow.

I definitely will! I'm working on a purple one at the moment, and I started a bunch of other animals as well Smiley

I use just regular acrylic paints (the craft kind, not the expensive art kind). I like them because they're cheap and don't stain my hands. I think it would be a great project for your kids!

A teal deer? A TEAL DEER?  Grin If this was unintentional, it's hilarious. If it was, kudos to you.

Have no idea what I'm talking about? Er, well, that just means that you don't frequent the bottom of the barrel forums that I sometimes visit. .__. Teal dear is a way of saying the acronym "TL;DR," which in turn stands for "Too long; didn't read," aka, the goto phrase for those with internet ADD who don't want to read more than one paragraph at a time.

I apologize now for wasting your time. Nice work though, even without the meme reference.  Smiley

Haha! I totally know the meme! This particular Teal Deer was no reference to it, although I do have a TL:DR little fawn necklace floating around. I just happen to really like the color teal XD

I picked this guy up on a whim at the hobby lobby a few weeks ago and decided to give him a little more color. Painted his body teal and blue, gave him so purple antlers and a little pink nose. He doesn't show it in this picture, but I have since given him several coats of varnish and put sparkles on his antlers.
I LOVE him to death and I really want to make a whole herd of rainbow colored reindeer to keep me company in my craft room <3

Front view, he has such a sweet little face! I'm so pleased with how well it turned out!

There's no reference in the photos, but he measures about 4-5" high Smiley
