I've been trying to finish a sweater for ages, but I keep getting hung up on the neckline. It's a wide scoop-neck & the pattern calls for stitches to be picked up around the neck edge & knit in ribbing.
Sound okay, right?
I though so, too.
I've tried to finish it so many times that I'm getting sick of it. The number of stitches it says to pick up make the neckline sooo huge that it just falls off my shoulders altogether! I've tried to decrease the number of stitches to be picked up, but the shape of the scoop makes it pucker really unflatteringly.
If anyone has any other ideas, I'm open to suggestions! Even (*shudder*) crochet-edging ideas might be feasible, although I'll have to teach myself how to crochet first!
Please help, I'm desperate!
