1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Monster Ninni-bot (A little pic heavy) on: June 09, 2011 08:26:36 PM
For the Monster Ninni Swap my partner, TwistedTruth, mentioned that she liked steampunk...and with that the ninni-bot was born! She's received and posted pics already so I can post and not spoil anything.
This is the front, the little heart actually opens up...

...like this! (Sorry about the blurriness, camera phone.  Grin)

Here's the back...

...and here's the back panel opened!

For more ninni awesomeness you should check out what the others made over at the Monster Ninni Swap Gallery! There are some really amazing ninnis!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cosplay Scarf on: November 30, 2009 06:34:33 PM
I just started knitting early this year and after I started to get the hang of a friend asked me to make something for a costume (Russia, from Axis Powers Hetalia) she'd be doing in the summer. I agreed, and then decided that knitting a ten foot scarf was a lot harder than it sounded. Needless to say, I didn't make it in time for the summer convention she wanted it for. However, I told her that I would definitely have it done for her for Christmas.
Now, at a whopping 121 inches long, I give you the Monstrosity!

It's nothing fancy, just a simple garter stitch all the way through.

And this is an action shot from behind:

It took me months to finish this thing, it's not perfect but at this point that matters very little to me. It wraps around my neck once and the tails fall to the backs of my knees, that's all that counts. It's finished! Yay!
