1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: bugs in resin on: March 16, 2009 08:21:03 PM
What an awesome gift! I don't thing they're gross at all, and I LOVE the resin angle! I like the idea that was posted about doing a huge table top with them. I live in Texas, so they're all over the place here, when I was a kid I would spend hours with coffee cans and Pringles cans roaming around filling them up with what I called "locust shells". When people came over, I would ask if they wanted to see "my collection". I think most adults assumed I meant my dolls or something, unitl I would bring out 20 Pringles cans full of exoskeletons....
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Teal Dining Room (with a side of silver Christmas and a motherload of photos) on: January 14, 2009 04:44:31 PM
My husband and I bought a, ahem, fixer upper circa 1904 and you have inspired me to get off my lazy butt and get to finishing up our house (things like massive keep-the house-from-falling down projects have been a priority) and our dining room has been painfully languishing. I am inspired!

YOWZA! This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. If I were in a store and saw this, I would be forced to buy it without hesitation -though I guess I DO have a skewed sense of what is necessary for my existence Smiley

Ohhhh! Squeal! My husband looked over my shoulder cause I was squeaking and said "you're gonna have to make one of those, aren't you?
