1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Anime Girl on: November 17, 2012 01:22:36 PM
Thanks for the comment.
I only use 2 strands (DMC 6 strand floss) You can get good coverage -- just becareful with your tension. You just pull gently until it lays on the fabric-- don't yank it through-- many people make this mistake!!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Haunted house with Treaters and Red Riding Hood on: October 22, 2012 06:45:08 AM
Here is my halloween themed piece. It was alot of fun to do! The windows, bats and ghost treater glow in the dark.

I also had to include my Red Riding hood. You can't see the sides but it has vines and window too

Patterns were designed by me.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Medieval Castle and characters on: September 10, 2012 02:52:12 PM
Here is a side view-- It has 4 stitched sides-- I should sew a storage bag for it.

It was one of my patterns I made up. I hope to do more stitched buildings/sets soon!!

Here is my latest project. It is a first trying to make something 3D. It was fun trying to figure things out. I think I learned what not to do next time!

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Thinking about buying PatternMaker... on: August 05, 2012 05:10:01 PM
I love my pattern maker pro-- I have had mine for 15 years with an upgrade a couple years ago !! I think it is totally worth getting!! You can control the numbers of floss and size of the design. You see what the design will look like also can change anything without redoing it from the start.

Also when you do program upgrade -- you can get 1/2 price for being a returning customer!! I thought that was way cool!! Smiley
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Two Blackwork Samplers on: August 05, 2012 04:03:05 PM
Here are 2 of my favourite original blackwork samplers Smiley They were lots of fun to stitch!!

8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Big Project Stitch A-long 2012 on: March 28, 2012 04:21:39 AM
I tried to stitch an ornament yesterday-- it didn't work for me. I guess because its spring time and my heart isnt into it yet. I'm sure I will find a big-ish project soon!
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Dragon Completed on: March 28, 2012 04:12:06 AM
Thanks everyone!!
The artist who drew the dragon was pretty amazed as well. It would be cool to stitch another one of her dragons -- just not right now. I can't stitch another cross stitch with grey tones yet!! I'm on another search for my next project.(another dragon I think) I want to start in a couple months. (after I have a small break this time)
