Amazingly cute! Great job on making it so realistic.  Shocked I'm in awe that you made 12 costumes of this calibur.

I'd be into a swap, I just got my very own copy of Harold & Maude and coming up with project ideas would be a great excuse to watch it for the 25th time!

Gorgeous wedding, and best of all is that you enjoyed it...when the bride and groom have a blast, that's the stuff great weddings are made of.  Wink

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Over 30 Fine Wine Geezer Swap Round 3 Gallery on: August 01, 2010 06:35:07 PM
beeker, I'd be bummed too about the gourds. I'm so bad about taking pictures of things I make before I give them away! Some of my favorite sculptures I made and gifted long before it ever dawned on me to photograph them. So I know how it feels to long for something you'll probably never see again.   Cry

Hilarious about the nightmare, edie22. I'm sure you'll find something wonderful to do with that fabric.  Cheesy

It took me a couple of days to post...I received this from edie22 on Thursday, finally had a spare moment to take pics yesterday.

The messenger bag:

And a little matching pouch:

I love the fabrics you chose, edie22! And there were a couple of extras...

Fingerless gloves, to keep my hands warm and my fingers free while I work in the unheated shipping room at Koinonia this winter:

And a matching hat!  Grin

Behind the hat you can see the card she sent.

I'll definitely be getting good use out of everything, thanks so much edie22!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Rescued My Old Canvas Shoes on: July 21, 2010 07:21:14 PM
I have some old converse that are ripped in just the same way. In the south GA humidity, they got moldy in my closet. I almost threw them out last weekend. Now I know why I saved them...guess it's time to take up embroidery! Roll Eyes
