Thank you all for your lovely comments.

My machine does button holes for me, just put the material in, tell the machine how long to make the hole, then press the button. I doubt I'd be able to do them myself.

I've been doing a sewing course with pattern review and this is the finished result.




It's a simplicity pattern but I can't remember the number of the top of my head. The buttons and button holes were the fiddliest bits, but over all I'm quite pleased.

They are wonderful. I think a mac would look great in any of the materials.
