The sequence of post-it's say 'My mum leaves notes all over the house on post-it notes. Some of them are sensible reminders. Most of them are pointless. It drives me CRAZY!!'.

For Embrace Your Geekness day, a Doctor Who themed zipper pouch. Which is bigger on the inside. Yes it's an old and terrible pun. Yes it *was* totally required. I love the fabrics- the outside and the lining (which I forgot to photograph...).

My first attempt. One of the nicer watches out of the ones I've got, two hanging gears and a red hanging bead.



I did another one which won't photograph properly, so doesn't really warrant a whole new thread. Single hanging black bead. I might redo the headpin because the loop isn't terribly good.

I got round to sewing it all together this morning, didn't take me as long as I thought which was obviously nice.

Ginger squid kitten hybrid, or squitten if you prefer. GM gone crazy? Sewer mutant? A result of an... interesting encounter? You decide.

Just over 1ft long, hand sewn. He has fur, tentacles, cat ears, cat-ish eyes and paws.

I started this ages ago, but first of all I 'couldn't finish because I haven't got any eyes', then 'oh I've forgotten to buy eyes', then eventually I bought some enormous black buttons, then I just... couldn't be bothered. But it's been sitting in bits in my room for so long I decided I really should just do it. Made of light blue fleece (a remnant, so trying to come up with a pattern to fit the fabric was, er, fun), about... 2 and a bit foot long? All hand sewn, the amount of times I stabbed myself in the hand with a frigging needle...

Hopefully finishing this will motivate me to finish my squid-kitten hybrid
