1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / My latest 4 felties...Boston Terriers galore! on: March 03, 2009 01:18:30 PM
I've been busy felting every weekend.  These little guys have all gone to their new homes, but I wanted to share them with you.  Smiley

2  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Delicate hands on Felties--how would you do it? on: October 23, 2008 12:49:37 PM
I was on eBay checking out the felted animals and there is an artist on eBay that makes the most gorgeous (and realistic) animals.  She made a marmoset that had intricate little bendable hands.  I thought at first that she had simply wrapped thread around wire, but when I looked closer, it almost appears that the tiny fingers are crocheted.  Does anyone have any idea how she does it?  I would love to put bendable fingers on my creations so that they can "grab" onto things.

Thanks in advance!
3  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Feltie #3....my Boston Clementine on: September 01, 2008 01:20:14 PM
I started this months and months ago and FINALLY finished her.  (I have motivation problems...lol.) At any rate...here's my Boston Terrier Clementine.

Clemmie is not impressed. Smiley
4  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Intro and my first 2 projects on: August 16, 2008 09:15:42 AM
Hi!  I'm new to this board and just wanted to post a short intro.  I've only done 2 felties and have a couple in progress.  (Hoping to learn a lot from you guys!)  I really like to make dogs in felt, but sure would like to try other things when I get better at it.  It's a fun hobby, but I have a lot of felting "battle wounds".  It's the first hobby I've had that actually includes blood letting.   Grin  I gave both of these to the owners of the dogs.

Here are pics of the dogs and my feltie versions.  Thanks for looking! Smiley
