21  After Easter Bunny in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Lady Rando on: August 10, 2009 05:10:44 PM
I know it's not even close to Easter but when my muse insists on an idea the only way I can get her to shut up and move on to another idea is to just give in and make whatever it is she's driving me batty with.

Let me introduce you to the After Easter Bunny.

What? You think it's easy being the Easter Bunny? You think all I have to do is hop around and leave cute little baskets with lots of goodies laying around for greedy little .... ummmm.

Let me tell you ... I get no help, none! It's not like that fat guy in the red suit. He has elves. All he has to do is sit around eating cookies, drinking cocoa telling all those elves what to do. He has only one night of work,.... one night!

Me, what have I got? I've got a bunch of chickens, that's what. Do you have any idea what it's like to work with a bunch of chickens all year long? Squawk, squawk, my hay is prickly ... squawk, squawk ... I want more seeds, ... squawk, squawk ... turn up the heat.

They drive me CRAZY!!!

Cheesy Paperclay, 11 inches tall x 5 inches wide.

I love this clay! This is the first piece I've sculpted in it. The collar has real peridot gems on it and the piece is about 5 1/2 inches tall.

26  Tree pendant in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Lady Rando on: May 22, 2009 01:49:29 PM
At 4:30 this morning I was in the mood to create. I wanted to try something that wasn't creepy or spooky. I sent a picture of my new pendant to my daughter so she could give me an idea for a name and her boyfriend took one look at it and said "Witches Willow" Sigh, guess my dark muse was having her way this morning. I still like it though.

Size: 1 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide
polymer clay, acrylic paint and mica

A new heart pendant from me. This time I wanted to try a mummy, the monster that creeped me out the most as a kid.  Shocked

My mom went to my blog to look at my newest stuff and all she could say on the phone was tsk, tsk, tsk. She probably thinks I'm doomed.  Grin

30  Zombie Stitch Markers inspired by shadowbox in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Lady Rando on: May 08, 2009 08:34:59 PM
I saw shadowbox's cute, cute, cute zombie charms and was inspired to create a set of zombie stitch markers. Thank you shadowbox for putting creepy ideas in my head!  Grin

Each is sculpted in polymer clay, then painted/antiqued with acrylic paint. I then coat each with polycrylic glaze to protect them.

Close-up of the foot.

Close-up of the icky, gooey brain.
