Lady4feet, what an adorable fabric and perfect for exercise mats.

Cmouse, 141000 yards of yarn? It's about 3 marathons, or I could make a line from my island to any of the neighbor islands! You will have strong hands knitting or crocheting all that! Wink
As for the walnut shells, maybe you could make floating candles or give them to a preschool for crafting or counting. Anyway, a new craft room is the best way to accommodate a new desk.

Dulcet, lovely colors on your hat and blanket. I agree that it will fit the baby, maybe a bit later but they grow fast.
524  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Can you help me make homemade sausages? on: January 31, 2015 02:05:19 PM
I tried making some but they were not tasty at all and way to dry. I used some pork that had very little fat so that's likely the cause. I also used artificial casing and it was dry and you could really feel it. We ended up removing it from the cooked sausages to avoid eating it.

Any tips or recipes would be welcome. We don't hunt and there's not much too hunt here except wild pig, so I will have to use meat from the supermarket.

Pinokeeo, I hope your shop can wait a bit more for the organizing, I'd like to see the other animals emerge from their blank blocs.

Freakiegeekie, that's a pretty rose. You could make one each year and end up with a wonderful bouquet.

Very slick design, that's a notebook that will inspire you to have many more ideas.

Pinokeeo, that tiny turtle is just perfect: the colors, the details, the size... You are inspiring me to stop cleaning and organizing and start carving!

Underthemountain, the bronze dragon is really beautiful.
I like your list: copper plating sounds like fun. If I had an embroidery machine, I think I would make tons of badges and embroider my tops and maybe even my bed sheets.

Cursive-queen, the colors that slowly change on the baby quilt are very attractive.

Sheep-blue, these creations are incredibly realistic.

Cmouse, what a great idea to print on burlap. I didn't guess you made it from a regular notebook, it looks so neat.

Cute hats, That1girl.
I like how you organized your stash. But where do you put your creations, all these beautiful yarny items?

This book is beautiful as the others were. I especially like the illustrations on the kitchen page, the tree and the handmade gifts...oh, and the bags of clutter too. I have to stop or I will put them all.
530  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Summer Garden Angel on: January 27, 2015 11:20:12 PM
Thanks! I think I want to finish the other two and maybe make a quilt. I'm not sure.
A quilt is a great idea. Whatever you decide in the end, I'm sure it will be beautiful.
