I love yours too! Cheesy

Great items. The wallet is my favorite. I like the rainbow stripes you added, it makes them more appealing.
I am thinking of making a wallet for myself too but i keep hoping I will find one in store. i don't like sewing zippers. In case I try it, I have a question. Did you put something inside the fabrics of the wallet to make it stiffer?

Sheepblue, I like the criss-cross pattern of the vials too. The teeth are a bit too spooky for me, I would wear them on October mostly but I would get a quick at seeing someone else wearing them. I did not guess your costume, I was wondering if you would be some white glue bottle. The sriracha costume is much more fun. You may have to fend off the guys who like hot spicy chicks though. Wink
I like your Halloween banner, it's colorful and straight to the point.

Thanks for making me discover Kaffe Fassett.

Alwaysinmyroom, the bun covers look delicate but strong. I was wondering why someone would cover bread buns with such intricate covers but hey, why not... until I read it was for ballerinas. Then, it all became clear. I wish I had your crochet skills. Needle books are always useful and your look bright and ready for crafting. You just reminded me that I should use mine more. My knee was hurt under the waves body boarding. In the last local newspaper, a guy just described his own injury slamming on the sandy bottom and the physical therapy that ensued. I could really relate. But then, he went on telling us that he had just accepted that he had become an uncle and this uncle wasn't going to body board the hardest spots anymore. My, I have become an aunty too! I'm not ready yet to stop having fun in the waves but I might go to easier places than I used to. In Hawaii, an uncle or aunty is anybody, related or not related, older.

Underthemountain, I sure hope we can meet too! Did you or Lana surf by the way?

Quantumphysica, with such creative, interesting notebooks, the academic year should fly by. Your embroidery looks neatly stitched. I agree that the shape is not symmetrical. maybe ironing the sides after pushing them in place with a needle could help. Slowing down on the foot pedal when coming to curves and more arduous shapes doesn't always come easily but it really helped me. It doesn't matter that much since your eyes will be closed when using it!

I like how the knots outline the shape of the bird. Lightening the shade as the knots are farther makes the bird really stand out. Excellent idea to use your embroidery on an apron.
525  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Three pages on: September 06, 2015 12:23:44 AM
Lovely pages.
You could make a coloring book with your beautiful art.
526  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Comic Book Bangle Bracelets on: September 04, 2015 12:21:16 AM
Great idea, they look spunky and cute, but not cheesy.
527  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Bright and Cheery Autumn on: September 04, 2015 12:19:57 AM
I love your choice of colors and the beautiful patterns.
528  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Donatello Rearmed on: September 04, 2015 12:18:17 AM
Very realistic. I especially like that you used cheap and easy to find supplies to make unique, very detailed and custom made pieces.

Definitively less sparkly!
She's intriguing and the booth is perfect too.

I'm back from visiting family far away and my knee is healed. I'm ready to start crafting again. You were all very busy this summer, just looking at some of your creations makes me want to craft now.
Sheepblue, I love your mug rugs. Handmade stuff doesn't need to be perfect to be beautiful.

Kbrison, these are all neat cards. This Canadian meet-up looks very interesting.
