21  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Jack Skellington Mini-Canvas Necklace on: April 11, 2014 01:11:18 PM
I'm wpndering how you managed to solder around the canvas. I suppose you folded it, removed the canvas, soldered on the side and pit the canvas back. But then, wasn't it difficult to solder with nothing inside to hold the shape?

Beautiful quilt and idea.

The colors you choose go very well together. The quilt is bright and sunny, very beautiful.

Too bad I don't know how to knit, I would have made the bunnies. They are  very cute.

Thank you for all the precise instructions to make T shirts. I feel ready to start, as soon as I get the supplies.

All these blocks, Carolmb are great. I can't believe how many you made!

Thanks for the clarifications!

I'm sure it was time consuming. I don't know how you all can make so many in so little time!

Hand cut freezer paper stencil, actually.  Wink

I'd like to try this technique one day. I hope you can answer some of my questions. Wink What kind of paint do you use? Is it still soft or a bit stiff once dry? Does it wash easily? and go in the dryer? Maybe you have a tutorial to suggest.

yoopidou--yes, we make blocks of our partners' choosing...but they also return our blocks to us
Do you mean you make one block, send it to your partner who makes more and sends the whole lot back to you? Or do they send you a pattern? And the, you send this first block to another partner? So, in the end, you have your first block, and many more made by your partners, but all of the same pattern, but not the same fabric?

Crazyda, all these plates look appetizing, especially if I were coming home from the cold.
