1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ribbon Flower Earrings: Cute or too much? on: January 29, 2012 06:36:34 PM
The ribbon flowers are super cute, but personal opinion, I would rather wear them as hair clips than earrings... Wink  I would need a necklace, pendant or bracelet to match too.

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Minion Army anyone? on: July 23, 2010 01:14:46 PM
OMG!!! He is so super cute!!!  I called my 6-yr-old out to look, and he was ALMOST as excited as I was!  I have a feeling I'm going to have to hook up an army of these, especially after we go see the movie!

AWESOME job!!!  He's so cute!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: I had to throw my crochet hook when I needed it most!! on: December 01, 2008 02:01:34 AM
I am so sad that you had to throw it away!  They should have advised you to mail it to yourself!!!  That way it would be the post office's responsibility, and you would be able to greet it joyfully at home a few days after you got there.  Stupid security screeners!!!  (I used to work at an airport.  It got really irksome after 9\11!)
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: Creepy Cute Crochet - patterns are confusing... on: December 01, 2008 01:55:45 AM
I made the amazon, and I think I ended up making broomstick lace for her hair then stitching that on.  But her bikini I had to make twice because the first one was OMG HUGE, and all her hair, while cute, made her really top-heavy.  So rock, block, or pellets to keep her upright!  I made the cthulu too.  His mouth tentacles (tentacles - N-T - completely different thing!) were annoying because the directions told you to basically stitch a hole and come back and put the tentacles in later.  They're short!!! And you have to stitch them in these little holes, and add the yarn, then fasten off again and again and again...! So annoying!  But he came out really cute.  {:] Lastly, I really hate that the heads and bodies are separate, and you have to sew them together.  If I do another one, I'm just going to stitch them as one because I think that's easier.  Thank you for letting me rant.  Smiley

Really cute!  I admire your patience too.  There is NO WAY I'd be able to fill the whole thing in using such small stitches.  It looks really great!  Cheesy
