2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Really stupid question: What are delicas used for? on: August 21, 2009 06:39:57 AM
I have only been beading for about a year (I am hopelessly addicted now) and my very favorite bead are the Delicas. I love them for making one or two strand necklaces/chokers that are very dainty....and ....um...."delicate" looking! (grin)

I am thinking about buying one too and I have the same questions. Obviously I would prefer to purchase the one I would get the most use of  Grin

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Beading Project Of The Month Club on: February 19, 2009 03:56:14 PM
Well....I figured THIS would be the place to ask my question and since no one (apparently) had anything negative to say about this company....I went ahead and signed up for this "craft of the month".

The first arrival should be in about three weeks and I am pretty eager to see what they send. I have to say that I never met a bead I didn't like! Even if I am not crazy about the project they send itself (like something I would not have any use for LOL) I would still have the beads to add to my collection, for another project of my own choosing!

Another big fan of "blue" too.....I have only been making jewelry since late last summer and I think these are just terrific.

I got an email advertising this company and it sounds good. I hate to sign up for anything and find out after the fact that I made a big mistake or their materials were faulty, etc. It will cost about $20.00 a month for supplies which I want to make sure is worth the price.

Does anyone have any experience with this company that they could share with me?

Thanks~

Hugs,

GrannyAnnie
