11  Re: Come one come all post your new tattoo IDEAS! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by lafrenteenalto on: May 19, 2009 07:55:45 PM

I'm getting this done on the left side of my upper back ON SATURDAY!

I wanted to get a Tocororo (I was born in Cuba and this is the national bird) and a Copihue (I live in Chile and it's the national flower) but I couldn't find better pics and I don't know how to draw so my tattoo artist is going to re-draw it for me Cheesy

Made it for my mom Cheesy

It's a shame I don't have my camera and only the webcam because the wool is amazing!

14  Bus Pass Holders in Needlework: Completed Projects by lafrenteenalto on: December 15, 2008 06:11:05 PM
I made bus pass holders for my boyfriend and one of my friends. They are done in needlepoint (?) on "esterilla" (don't know the name in english).

I'm going to give them for christmas my boyfriend's has a patch with the indigenous flag and my friend's has a green punk guy on it.

This is just one of the presents I'm giving to them though, when I'm finished I'll post the rest.

thanks for looking Cheesy

15  Me and my boyfriend done in 'needlepoint' (not sure if it's the right term) in Needlework: Completed Projects by lafrenteenalto on: November 26, 2008 05:43:54 PM
I used something that in spanish is called "arpillera" and common yarns that I had around my house.

It's 25 x 40 cms

and it's now hanging on his bedroom wall, he really loved it and took pictures to show it off to his friends and family so I felt great LOL

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!

I usually just lurk all night long around crafster but tonight I wanted to post a few pictures of hats I have knitted over the last Year.

First is my niece's bunny hat, I did it without using a pattern.

This is her andean flowery hat, I also did it without using a pattern

This Tam I made for my boyfriend modifying this pattern:
